Koala & wine our new adventure
Hi Koalas! I’m Thierry, back in December 2019, I decided to create and release a card game as my 2020 personal challenge. The objective was to create a card game, easy, quick and fun to play with friends, easy to explain to my mum and my grandmother and fun to create. This is how Koala and Wine started. I didn’t start the journey alone, and Justine’s talent created the fantastic illustrations that you can see on the cards. On the journey, we tested the game with many players, and two of them were our close friends Thomas and Pauline. They liked the game and decided to join the adventure.

On the journey, we tested the game with many players, and two of them were our close friends Thomas and Pauline. They liked the game and decided to join the adventure. Not only did they help us pushing the idea, but most importantly they created an online multiplayer platform for the game Koala and Wine within a week! The online version of the game allows us to test and play it with friends and family in spite of this global lockdown. People ask us how they did it so quickly and instead of me responding “magic” Thomas decided to explain to us in this post how they developed it.
